Home Sweet Home

This is our home we waited so long for! I'm so glad to be in but an important piece to feeling totally "home" will not be here for another month. See you in a month my honey!

Also, if you notice to the right, I've finally added a picture of my son Bridger. It's been a long time coming and I wish it was here much sooner. In the past 6 1/2 years without him, I have shared his poem with many others who have grieved the loss of a child and hope it brought them comfort as it did to us. So his link is a tribute to his life...and for that blessed day we will be together again.

Teeth!

Of course Brinley needed to have a picture of her teeth too....you can tell by all the chips that girl has that she is clumsy!

4 teeth gone in less than 2 weeks! And the last front tooth came out the hard way... he came is screaming ... angry screaming cause he was so mad at himself and there was so much blood but when he calmed down enough to understand his words he told us "I just wish I never closed my eyes!! I'm so mad at myself! I just wish I could go back and open my eyes!"
He was riding his bike with his eyes closed and crashed and jammed his mouth in the handlebar. Oh and he was screaming that he couldn't find his tooth! And when he first looked in the mirror he screamed more saying" I just don't want to look like this for my party!" He had a big fat lip. Great Memory! Great story!

Pictures for Dad

I had my dear friend Malena take pictures of me and the kids for Cade for Father's Day and I was so impressed. Thank you Malena! And of course Cade couldn't have been happier to get these while away this summer in North Carolina. Brinley was sweet for about 11% of the time but we got enough good ones of her and Brigham to melt my heart! I was driving on I-15 past Thanksgiving Point and noticed a bride taking picture in the open field just south of it and is was sunset and absolutely beautiful. I knew it would be the perfect place for our pictures.

Down at the Creek

My sister and I thought our poor dogs, and kids, needed a good cool-down...this was the perfect place!

Of course.....not the safest for Brinley who I had to hold back the majority of the time but everyone else had fun!
