My
Mom and sisters are opening up a darling little cottage in the heart of Alpine, Utah! We will now
be hosting small events such as Bridal Showers, Baby Showers, Birthday Parties,
Little Miss Manner's Tea Parties, Cupcake & Cake Decorating Parties, Book Club,
Quilt Group and Luncheons, ALL with the most adorable themes and decor! We do
all the work for you! Mom will also be moving her cooking classes to this cottage.
She offers a whole range of classes for all different levels of chefs and she
delivers them based on family traditions that she has been taught. There will even be
parties that are tied into cooking demonstrations! I will also be running my
Simply Sweet Cakes & Treats business here! I am so excited to expand my
business and make a name for myself!
All this will be coming August 2012!!!
Stay posted for the new website coming
soon!

Announcing.....
April 3, 2012
Here We Are
Not much is new, just letting the dust settle after the move...
And just to note, in case we actually forget, we have stuff in this beautiful storage, we have stuff in our storage shed at the home we still own, we have stuff at my sisters house, we have stuff at my father-in-laws, we have stuff at my step-father-in-laws, we have stuff that just came back from Texas and don't forget all the stuff we have here at my Parent's house. HOLY STUFF! I think it's safe to say we need to get rid of some stuff. NO- I am not a hoarder!
In the meantime, the kids and I go on MANY walks while dad is busy working...
Cade has started up softball again... and yes I am quite alright staring at this man do his thing!
I'm keeping busy with Brigham playing soccer and soon starting baseball, Brinley doing awesome in her new Gymnastics class and as always keeping busy with cakes! (AND will have a special announcement coming May 15, 2012!)

What's going on?
Too much. Too much has been going on. I'm sure in the next week my life will settle a little and maybe I will have time to take some pictures, do something fun or have something worth blogging about and hopefully get some new pictures up on my cake blog too! For now, I have moved in with my parents for the next 3 months. We were lucky to get a nice family to rent out our house which was a huge stress off my plate. Cade left for Texas for the next 3 months and will hopefully be bringing a portion of the company to Utah which will get him through school We know they want him to head up a division in Dallas, but our goal for now is to push for Utah. So who knows where I will be in 3 months. So if any of you are wondering, where in the heck is the Smith Family now.....well, for now it's still Alpine.

Christmas 2011
Doughnut Day! Y.U.M! Love this home made yummy tradition every year. Next year I think I'll actually stop to take a picture of at least one. They get eaten so dang quick and as you can imagine with all these kids, it's about an hour and a half of madness so it's tough to get a picture. The new hit this year...maple frosted with crunchy bacon crumbles on top. D-lish!
Then on we go to family bingo! The one and pretty much only game my family will play.
And the best Christmas gift of all....pitched in by us all.......

Heck ya! July 28th he's comin' to Utah and we will be there! So excited!
And now on to the kids for Christmas....
Brinley got a ginormous bike. Yep, she's a tall one!
Brigham, super happy he got his 3Dds....btw the jig is up. He found Brinley's bike out in the garage (my bad) and of course he let us lie through our teeth for 2 days after Christmas that santa came. Awesome! Atleast we made up for it with his official set of scriptures. He just didn't want to wait til he was 8. He carried them everywhere christmas day!
Happy Family! Aren't we cute!? Merry Christmas!!!

THE BEST Snow White Party a Girl Could Have!
We re-created our own Snow White adventure! (pictures are not in order of the movie, but our adventure went just like the movie!)
The spread was Delicious! Peanut butter sandwiches, berries, pretzels, apples, apple juice and of course, apple cupcakes! Of course, we washed up first!
The girls got to go home with their own red bow, mirror and carmel apples!
We made a wish in our wishing well!
We washed the dishes, swept and dusted for the 7 dwarfs!
We also played pin the bow on snow white's head. Our first little girl got blindfolded and when I placed her about 2 feet in front of the snow white poster, I told her to try and find her head.....she turned around, peaked through her blindfold, walked right over to Brinley and stuck it on her head. So darling!
Of course we stopped to dig in Doc's mine for gold and treasures!
Colored Snow White pictures!
And long, at last..... our handsome Prince came to "wake us up" with a chocolate kiss!
My camera and I have issues so instead of seeing her blow out the candles, you see her chowing down on her chocolate with chocolate frostd cake!
Happy, Happiest Birthday Miss Brinley!!!
(yes I totally out-did myself but it was sooooooo worth it!)
