BIRTHDAY GIRL!

Ok, so we had Brinley's birthday on the 7th and since then I've been trying to download the video of when we sang to her.....upload failure is all that comes up so here's some pictures.

PIG TAILS ARE THE BEST!

So here is the crazy hair before the pig tails.....it only took me forever to do them with a sqirmy little girl (by myself) but it was soooooo worth it! Her hair turned out so darling! I cannot believe I haven't done it sooner! And there are so many pictures because it's so dang cute! At the bottom we got a little tiny clip of her walking! YAY! It's only a few steps before tumbling to the ground but it's cute! And sorry I couldn't figure out how to turn the clip so crank yer head to the side to watch it.

FUN GAME......

Awwww.....so cute! The last time Cade and I went to a game together was the BYU game when we were dating so this was so much fun.....except for how bad BYU sucked. Better luck next time!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

So my mom hates her birthday but of course we're gonna make a cake for her and since it was her 50th I told her she gets a big party or a big cake.....she made a good decision! The cake was her own recipe and it was by far the BEST chocolate cake I have ever tasted in my life. Never would I get a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and oh me - oh my - DELICIOUS! Don't hate me mom but I had to post this.....almost got your finger flipping me off. That was the highlight of the day! And the video is getting a preview of what is to come on Brinley's birthday....she LOOOOOOVES chocolate cake! (Just listening to it makes you realize why my dad has a headache every time our whole family comes to visit)

So I'm not much of a description writer unless there is a great story to go with a picture but I of course had to post some halloween pictures of my darling kids... My little girl - already trying to sneak candy! Just like mom!

I love this picture! Cade got season tickets to the Cougar's this year but because of work he's only made it to a few games and I'm so glad he got to take Brigham to atleast one. Brigham LOVES the cougars and boy was he spoiled there.... nachos, cotton candy and popcorn! Dad went all out!

Tell me how cute it is when your child first starts learning to write their own name! This paper is the one I look forward to getting every time I pick Brigham up from school. It started out tracing the red letters on the top and middle lines and writing it by yourself on the last line -to- tracing the red lines on the first only -to- now writing it yourself, tracing and writing it by yourself. I LOVE IT! This is his best so far!!

WHO DOESN'T LOVE FALL?!!

Not quite the brightest of fall colors yet but it's getting there. I know there are a lot, but here are some pictures for Dad who comes home in 2 days!!! Yay!!!

MY HONEY

For those of you who don't know me well, I do not like being alone at night and Cade is in Arkansas working for the next 3 weeks. This may not be that long to some but I guess I am a tad on the clingy side and that's ok cause he doesn't mind it one bit! Miss you honey! 3 days down - 18 more to go!

MOM MOMENT #1 and #2

Of course there are tough things about being a mom and then there are great ones. I just want to share 2 that happened recently...actually 3 but I only have pictures of 2. One was when Cade took off to Cabela's with Brigham to hang out at the shooting range, I took that opportunity to go do a little shopping at one of my favorite stores called Evan's Frontier Store or Gatehouse and while I'm just walking around slowly looking at everything with Brinley on my hip just I just stop and notice Brinley ever so quietly looking at everything just like me - and then she looked at me and I smiled at her - and she smiled at me as if she just loved shopping with mom. It was tender!

Then next moment was... ya know when your not-so-little-anymore baby stops falling asleep on you... it's kinda sad, so when they finally do because they are beyond exhausted and just don't care anymore that they aren't in their own bed.... I LOVE IT! So here's the picture. Don't ya just want to squish those cheeks!

Then moment number 3 was at the grocery store and while we mothers would just like to get the grocery shopping done in peace by ourselves.... this was a "mom" moment for me cause it was the first time I had put them next to each other in the car cart and it was just so dang cute to see how much fun she was having sitting next to Brigham. You could tell she felt like a big girl and not to mention she wants to be EVEYWHERE Brigham is - so it was cute!

TINFOIL DINNERS

Going up into the mountains for tinfoil dinners (hot dogs for the kids) and s'mores has got to be one of my favorite things. We just went up with a bunch of friends and family; most of which work or have worked for APX ALARM and we all first met when we were newlyweds.....6 years later and here we are with more kids than we can count! Fun stuff!
